ARELIS - How To Get High Quality Inbound Links

The Find New Link Partners window
Top  Previous  Next

The Find New Link Partners window helps you to find new potential link partners. You can open it by clicking the "Find New Link Partners" button in the main window.

find new link partners step 1
ARELIS offers you three options in that window:

Find web sites that link to your competitors
Web sites that link to your competitors are web sites that should link to your site, too. Choose this option to find web sites that link to your competitors.

Find web sites by keyword search
ARELIS can find new web sites with the help of search engines. ARELIS can use several search engines at once, it can filter links by country and it automatically removes duplicate links. ARELIS will also automatically ignore web sites that you've previously deleted from the list.

Find web sites that already link to you
Choose this option to find out which web sites already link to you. This feature works only with the web sites that are indexed by search engines.

Choose one of the three options, click the Next button and follow the instructions in the window. ARELIS will then find potential link partners for you. Note that in the demo version, ARELIS will only find 100 potential link partners. To remove this limitation, you must purchase an unlock code.

Depending on the method you've chosen in Step 1, the information you have to enter in Step 2 varies. In step 3 you can specify how the newly found web sites should be categorized:

These options allow you to pre-categorize the newly found web sites. Of course, you should consider assigning the newly found web sites other category names once you've previewed them. Since many web sites that are found with the same method often apply to the same category, this option will save you time when categorizing newly found sites.

Step 4 in the Find New Link Partners window allows you to specify which web sites should not be added:

The filter list specifies which web sites should not be added. For example, you can specify that web pages from a special country or web pages that contain special words should not be added to the list. You can edit the filter list by clicking the "Edit Filters..." button.

Step 5 allows you to specify how many potential link partners should be found and how.

find new link partners step 5
The "Find so many new potential link partners" edit field allows you to specify how many potential link partner sites should be found (and added to your link partner list) before ARELIS stops searching.

If you select the "Try to find contact information for each link partner" check box, then ARELIS will try to find the email address of a contact person for every newly found web site. Of course, searching for email addresses take some time. You can specify the "search depth" for finding contact information in the General Options window.

Normally, ARELIS fetches the link text and the link description from the found web page. If you select the "Get link texts and link descriptions from the home pages of the found link partners" option, then ARELIS will fetch the link text and the link description from the home page instead.

The last step shows you which web pages are analyzed during the search process by ARELIS. This screen is mainly for informational purposes.

If you want to stop the search process, click the "Stop" button. If you have a fast Internet connection, much RAM and want to speed things up, select a higher number in the "Maximum number of concurrent connections" popup menu.
