|
Category file names use hyphen instead of underscore

After creating the link pages, run an FTP application (to upload the link pages)
| ARELIS can automatically start your FTP application after creating the link pages. This allows you to upload the link pages immediately.
|
Step 5: Link directory created
In the upper part of the window, ARELIS tells you the location where the link directory has been saved. To see the icons of the link pages on the desktop, click the "Show Local Directory On Desktop" button. To view the link directory in your web browser, click the "Show Local Link Directory In Browser" button.
Click the Next button to start your FTP application.
Step 6: Upload your link directory
When ARELIS creates your link directory, it only saves it to your local hard disk. In order to make your link directory visible to your web site visitors, you must upload your link directory to your Internet server. This is usually done with a so-called FTP application. The FTP application makes your local web site visible to all Internet users.
Every web site owner has its own favorite FTP application so ARELIS doesn't offer a built-in one. If you don't have an FTP application yet, we recommend the very good and free SmartFTP program.
Enter the path to the FTP application in the edit field so that you can click the "Start FTP Application" button to start the FTP application. ARELIS will remember the path so that you can always start the FTP application quickly whenever you create a new link directory.
