When you've collected enough link partners in the list, you should create your link pages. ARELIS makes it easy for you.

Step 1: Select a link page template

create link pages step 1

If you want the link pages to match the design of your web site, then you have to create a new link page template. ARELIS will guide you in a few easy steps to a new link page template that matches the design of your web site.

Click here for further information on how to create a custom link page template. If you've already created a template, you can select it in the list. Click the Next button to proceed.

Step 2: Link page options

create link pages step 2

List web sites that link back first
Check this box if you want that web sites that link bank to you appear first on your link pages.

Sort links on the link pages

This popup menu allows you to choose how ARELIS should arrange the web sites on your link pages.

Picture URL for web sites that link back
You can have ARELIS show a picture in your link directory for web sites that link back to your site. Just enter the URL to the picture in the corresponding edit field. The picture URL will only be displayed when you use the [A-Link-Back-Image] variable in your link directory template.

Include link to Axandra.com on the link pages

If you participate in the Axandra.com affiliate program, you can enter your affiliate link in the corresponding edit field. Then ARELIS will use your affiliate link in the "Built with ARELIS" link that can appear in your link directory pages so that you'll get a commission for every sale that is made due to your referral. To get more information about our affiliate program, click here.

Step 3: Choose a saving location

create link pages step 3

Save link pages to this directory

The "Select Save Directory" button lets you choose a destination on your hard disk to which the link pages will be saved.

Category files names are in lower case (recommended)

This option specifies the case of your link directory pages. For example, if your category page is usually saved as Category.htm, then selecting this option will save it as category.htm.

Category file names use hyphen instead of underscore

Choose if you want ARELIS to replace spaces in your link page file names with hyphen ("-") or underscores ("_").

After creating the link pages, display local link directory in your web browser

If you want your link pages to be opened in the web browser immediately after creating them, select this option.

After creating the link pages, run an FTP application (to upload the link pages)

ARELIS can automatically start your FTP application after creating the link pages. This allows you to upload the link pages immediately.

Step 5: Link directory created

create link pages step 5

In the upper part of the window, ARELIS tells you the location where the link directory has been saved. To see the icons of the link pages on the desktop, click the "Show Local Directory On Desktop" button. To view the link directory in your web browser, click the "Show Local Link Directory In Browser" button.

Click the Next button to start your FTP application.

Step 6: Upload your link directory

When ARELIS creates your link directory, it only saves it to your local hard disk. In order to make your link directory visible to your web site visitors, you must upload your link directory to your Internet server. This is usually done with a so-called FTP application. The FTP application makes your local web site visible to all Internet users.

Every web site owner has its own favorite FTP application so ARELIS doesn't offer a built-in one. If you don't have an FTP application yet, we recommend the very good and free SmartFTP
program.

Enter the path to the FTP application in the edit field so that you can click the "Start FTP Application" button to start the FTP application. ARELIS will remember the path so that you can always start the FTP application quickly whenever you create a new link directory.
