The Add web Site window

Click the Add Site button in the main window to open the Add Web Site window:

add web site window

The Add Web Site window allows you to manually add a new web site to the list (instead of using the Find New Link Partners window).

Add Web Site (F2)

Just enter the URL of a web page, click the "Get Information Online" button and ARELIS will get the information for the link text, the email address (if possible) and the description. You can also set the category, the sub category and the Weight number.

You can enter several email addresses at once by separating them by comma.

Additional Information (F3)

add web site window add information

If you select the "Try to find contact information for each link partner" check box, then ARELIS will try to find the email address of a contact person for every newly found web site. Of course, searching for email addresses take some time. You can specify the "search depth" for finding contact information in the General Options window.

Normally, ARELIS fetches the link text and the link description from the found web page. If you select the "Get link texts and link descriptions from the home pages of the found link partners" option, then ARELIS will fetch the link text and the link description from the home page instead.

After having entered all necessary information, click the "Add To List And Add Another" button to add the web site to the web site list in the main window and to enter a new web site. Or click the "Add To List And Close" button to add the web site to the list and close the window.

The new web site will be automatically marked for inclusion in your link directory.
