How to create own templates

To create a new link page template, click the Create Link Pages button in the main window. The following window will appear:

Select the first option: "Create new link page template". This allows you to create a new link page template file that ARELIS can use to create link pages in the design of your web site. Then click the Next button.

Select a layout and click the Next button.




Step 2: Names

Enter a name for the link page template
This name will be used as the name for your link page template in the template list of step 1.  

Enter the file name for the start page of your link directory
Specify the file name of the index page of your link directory. For example, if your main links page should have the URL "http://www.yourdomain.com/links.htm" enter "links.htm" as the name. Do not use slashes or special characters in the name.  

Click the Next button to proceed.




Step 4: Font settings

This window allows you to specify the fonts that will be used on your link pages. Enter the fonts you want to use in the corresponding edit fields. In general, you should use the same fonts that you use on the rest of your web site. Don't use too many fonts on your web pages.




Step 5: Select dummy web page

Click the "..." button to select a dummy web page. A dummy web page is a web page on your hard disk that has the design of your web site and that contains the text ##LINKS## at the place where you want the links to appear. Further information on how to create a dummy page can be found here.  

Click the Next button to let ARELIS create your link page template. Please read the text carefully.
