To make a complete backup of ARELIS and all your data, simply copy the whole ARELIS directory to your backup media. That's all there is to it. This is possible because all project data, web site data, etc. is saved in the same directory where ARELIS.exe is located. Most likely, you can find the ARELIS directory at "C:\Program Files\ARELIS\". We recommend making a backup whenever you add a significant number of new link partners. Tip: Instead of copying the ARELIS directory manually, you can also use a menu command to make a copy of the ARELIS directory. Select "Backup ARELIS..." in the Tools menu in the ARELIS main window and ARELIS will make a backup of your current ARELIS directory. |
